Nica Digerness
Nica Digerness (born March 21, 2000) is an American pair skater. With her former partner, Danny Neudecker, she is the 2017 U.S. national junior champion and placed 10th at the 2017 World Junior Championships. Since July 7, she is now paired with Mark Sadusky. Personal life Digerness was born on March 21, 2000, in Loveland, Colorado. She is the daughter of Savannah Mclean, and Theo Digerness, a former gymnast. She has a brother, Nico. She was raised in Greeley, Colorado. She attended Mountain View Academy and was later homeschooled. Career Early years & Beginning of Parternship Digerness began learning to skate in 2010. As a young child, she was coached by Kristin Conroy at the Greeley Ice Haus. She competed in juvenile ladies' singles in the 2013–2014 season and moved up to the intermediate level the following season. She then moved to the Ft. The City of Loveland is the home rule municipality that is the second most populous municipality in Larimer County, Colorado, United States. 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The 2017 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held March 15–19, 2017 in Taipei City, Taiwan (Chinese Taipei). Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. Pair champions Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya / Harley Windsor became the first skaters representing Australia to win gold at an ISU Figure Skating Championships. The United States received gold in two disciplines, with Vincent Zhou winning the men's singles title and Rachel Parsons / Michael Parsons taking the ice dancing title. The ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating (known as ISU Champions Series from 1995 to 1997) is a series of senior international figure skating competitions organized by the International Skating Union. The invitational series was inaugurated in 1995, incorporating several previously existing events. Broadmoor World Arena (1998)
The Broadmoor World Arena (originally known as the Colorado Springs World Arena) in Colorado Springs, Colorado is an 8,000 seat multi-purpose arena and entertainment venue. The arena opened in 1998. In addition to the main arena, the adjacent Ice Hall contains two practice rinks, one NHL-sized and one Olympic-sized. The facility is home to world-class concerts and events, the Broadmoor Skating Club (BSC), numerous elite figure skaters, and the Colorado Gold Speedskating Club.
