Neo Vouprasio
Metochi (Greek: Μετόχι) is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Larissos, western Achaea, Greece. The community consists of the villages Metochi, Vouprasio, Neo Vouprasio and Lappas. Lappas was the seat of the former municipality of Larissos. Metochi is located in the plains near the Ionian Sea coast, 5 km south of Araxos, 3 km southwest of Araxos Airport, 14 km west of Kato Achaia and 32 km west of Patras. The Prokopos lagoon, which is fed by the river Larissos, is 1 km north of Metochi. Lappas is on the Greek National Road 9 (Patras - Pyrgos) and on the railway from Patras to Pyrgos. West Greece
Western Greece Region (, ) is one of the thirteen Modern regions of Greece, administrative regions of Greece. It comprises the western part of Central Greece (geographic region), continental Greece and the northwestern part of the Peloponnese peninsula. Kato Achaia
Kato Achaia () is a town and a community in Achaea, West Greece, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality West Achaea, of which it is the seat of administration. The community Kato Achaia consists of the town Kato Achaia and the villages Alykes, Manetaiikia, Paralia Kato Achaias and Piso Sykea. Nearby are the ruins of the ancient city of Dyme. Kato Achaia is located 1km south of the Gulf of Patras and 20km southwest of Patras. The villages Alykes and Paralia Kato Achaias are on the coast. Greek National Road 9 (, abbreviated as EO9) is a single carriageway with at-grade intersections in the West Greece and Peloponnese regions. It runs along the west coast of the Peloponnese peninsula, from Patras to Methoni via Pyrgos. Its length is around , making it the second-longest national highway of Greece. The government of Greece plans to replace the road by a new motorway. Larissos (river)
The Larissos (, also ''Riolitiko'', ) is a river in the western part of Achaea, southern Greece. Its source is on the western slope of the mountain Movri, near the village of Mataragka. It flows through the Prokopos lagoon, and empties into the Ionian Sea in the village of Kalogria. Other villages along its course are Kagkadi, Apideonas and Lappas. Araxos Airport () is the airport of Patras, the third-largest city in Greece. It serves as a combined civilian and military airport and is located near its namesake, the village of Araxos, Achaea. It is also known as ''Agamemnon Airport'' and primarily is used as an active air base for the Hellenic Air Force, with some civilian services to European destinations during the summer months. Araxos
Araxos (, ) is a village and community in the municipal unit of Larissos, within the municipality of West Achaea, in the northwestern part of Achaea, Greece. It is located about 29 km southwest of Patras. The community consists of the villages of Araxos, Akrotirio Araxos, and Taxiarches. Araxos is located in the coastal plains near Cape Araxos, which separates the Gulf of Patras from the Ionian Sea.
