Nathan Coles
Nathan Coles was a British people, British tech house Disc jockey, DJ. Described as an "originator of tech house" and a "towering figure of the tech house scene," he played a pivotal role in shaping the UK's tech house scene during the late 1990s and 2000s. Career Coles began his career by organizing numerous parties and underground raves across London during the early 1990s. He first gained recognition for organizing the renowned Release parties. In 1994, he co-founded the influential UK tech-house event Wiggle alongside Terry Francis, featuring renowned DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Layo & Bushwacka!, and Mr. G. A disc jockey, more commonly abbreviated as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. Richie Hawtin
Richard "Richie" Hawtin (born June 4, 1970) is a British-Canadian electronic musician and DJ. He became involved with Detroit techno's second wave in the early 1990s, and has been a leading exponent of minimal techno since the mid-1990s. He became known for his recordings under the Plastikman and F.U.S.E. aliases. Under the latter, he released his debut album '' Dimension Intrusion'' (1993) as part of Warp's Artificial Intelligence series. In May 1990, Hawtin and John Acquaviva founded the Plus 8 record label, which they named after their turntable's pitch adjust function. In 1998, Hawtin launched M-nus Records. Layo & Bushwacka! is the pseudonym of British DJ duo Layo Paskin and Matthew Benjamin, who released four tech house albums between 1998 and 2012. Layo Paskin Paskin, from London, began his DJ career at the age of sixteen while working at Camden Market. Not long after, he began DJing at warehouse parties with Mr. C. In the course of his work, Paskin's father discovered the building that would become The End, a 19th-century stable for mail horses. Along with Mr. C, Paskin was the co-owner of The End nightclub in London. Labelled variously as tech house, house or breakbeat, the pair usually record and DJ together. Primal Scream
Primal Scream are a Scottish rock band originally formed in 1982 in Glasgow by Bobby Gillespie (vocals) and Jim Beattie. The band's current lineup consists of Gillespie, Andrew Innes (guitar), Simone Butler (bass), and Darrin Mooney (drums). Barrie Cadogan has toured and recorded with the band since 2006 as a replacement after the departure of guitarist Robert "Throb" Young.
