was a compilation of classic arcade video games, and was made for iOS and Android by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Namco Arcade was discontinued and removed from both the App Store and Google Play marketplaces on March 15, 2016. Purchased games prior to the shut down of the store can still be played. Xevious
is a 1983 vertically scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Namco for arcades. It was released in Japan by Namco and in North America by Atari, Inc. Controlling the Solvalou starship, the player attacks Xevious forces before they destroy all of mankind. The Solvalou has two weapons at its disposal: a ''zapper'' to destroy flying craft, and a ''blaster'' to bomb ground installations and enemies. It runs on the Namco Galaga arcade system. is an action role-playing platform video game developed and published by Namco for arcades in 1984. It runs on Namco Pac-Land hardware, modified to support vertical scrolling. In Japan, the game was ported to the Family Computer (Famicom), MSX, and X68000; the latter version was later released for the Virtual Console in the same region on November 18, 2008. is a 1981 fixed shooter video game developed and published by Namco for arcades. In North America, it was released by Midway Manufacturing. It is the sequel to ''Galaxian'' (1979), Namco's first major video game hit in arcades. Controlling a starship, the player is tasked with destroying the Galaga forces in each stage while avoiding enemies and projectiles. Some enemies can capture a player's ship via a tractor beam, which can be rescued to transform the player into a "dual fighter" with additional firepower.
