Nadeem–Shravan
Nadeem–Shravan is an Indian composer duo in the Bollywood film industry of India. They derive their name from the first names of Nadeem Akhtar Saifi (born 6 August 1954) and Shravan Kumar Rathod (13 November 1954 – 22 April 2021). Nadeem–Shravan was one of the most successful Bollywood music directors of the 1990s until the early 2000s. They displayed a strong influence of Hindustani (classical / semi-classical) music in their compositions, and were the only composers during the 1990s and 2000s who relied heavily on three particular instruments: the bansuri, the sitar and the shehnai in almost all of their songs. By using these instruments in a modern way without disconnecting them from their original value, their contribution is unique compared to some rising music directors evolving a new music style beginning in the mid-1990s. ''Aashiqui'' () is a 1990 Indian musical romantic drama film directed by Mahesh Bhatt and starring Rahul Roy, Anu Aggarwal and Deepak Tijori in pivotal roles. The first installment of the ''Aashiqui'' series, the film is known for its music, with composer duo Nadeem–Shravan establishing their careers along with that of singer Kumar Sanu and the music label T-Series. Upon release, it received positive reviews and emerged as a commercial success. It was the best selling Bollywood album at the time of its release. The soundtrack album sold 20million units, making it the best-selling Bollywood soundtrack album of all time. ''Deewana'' (, ) is a 1992 Indian Hindi-language romantic action drama film directed by Raj Kanwar and written by Sagar Sarhadi. It stars Rishi Kapoor, Divya Bharti, and Shah Rukh Khan in his debut. The film revolves around an effervescent girl Kajal (Bharti), depicting her travails as a widow after the disappearance of her husband Ravi (Kapoor) and how her obsessive lover Raja (Khan) wins her over. ''Rang'' (; ) is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language romance film, produced by Mansoor Ahmed Siddiqui under the ANAS Films banner and directed by Talat Jani. It stars Divya Bharti, Kamal Sadanah and Ayesha Jhulka, with Jeetendra, Amrita Singh, Kader Khan and Bindu (actress), Bindu portraying other pivotal roles.
