Máscara Divina (Spanish: ''Divine Mask''; born 26 August 1972), is the ring name of a Mexican ''Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler. He is best known for appearing in the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) promotion. Mascara Divina has worked under various ring names such as Máscara Sagrada, Super Mascara Sagrada, Televisa Deportes, Triple A, Super AAA, and El Alberije. He is a former co-holder of the AAA Mascot Tag Team Championship along with Mascarita Sagrada 2000 and the Mexican National Tag Team Championship with La Parka Jr. Máscara Divina's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from wrestling fans. Mexican National Tag Team Championship
The Mexican National Tag Team Championship ''()'' is a national Mexican professional wrestling championship controlled by the (Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission) and competed for by two-man tag teams. The championship was created in 1957, promoted regularly until 2003, and intermittently until 2011 when the last known defense took place. (EMLL) had control of the championship from its creation until 1992, at which point it was transferred to AAA. The championship history up until 1982 is only partially known, with periods of times where it is unclear who held the championship, but it is generally accepted that the lineage began in 1957 when ''Los Hermanos Shadow'' (The Shadow Brothers; Blue Demon and Black Shadow) won an eight-team tournament to be crowned champions. A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s. In 1915, Mort Henderson started wrestling as the "Masked Marvel" in the New York area making him the first North American wrestler to perform with such a gimmick. Jesús Alfonso Huerta Escoboza (January 4, 1966 January 11, 2020) was a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, better known as La Parka (or La Parka II to distinguish him from the original La Parka) who worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion AAA from the mid-1990s until 2019. On January 11, 2020, Huerta died from complications arising from injuries that he sustained from a botched move during an October 2019 match. Escoboza was not the first wrestler to use the ring name "La Parka", Adolfo Tapia was the original La Parka but did not own either the name or the character. In the late 1990s, Escoboza was billed as ''La Parka Jr.'' and then in 2003 he became the "official" La Parka while Tapia was forced to stop using the name and instead became known as L.A. Park. Mascarita Dorada (Spanish: ''Little Golden Mask''; born February 19, 1982), is the ring name of a Mexican '' Luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler, who works in the '' Mini-Estrella'' division, comparable to midget wrestling. He is also known for his tenure with WWE under the ring name El Torito (Spanish for ''The Little Bull'').
