Petaling, Selangor
The Petaling District is a district located in the heart of Selangor in Malaysia. Petaling is not to be confused with the city of Petaling Jaya located in it, nor the ''mukim'' of Petaling under Petaling Jaya City. The district office is located in Subang. The district of Petaling was established on 1 February 1974, the same day Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. This district is located in the middle of the Klang Valley adjacent to the capital and thus has experienced tremendous urbanisation. Mutiara Damansara station is a mass rapid transit station serving the suburb of Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is one of the stations on the MRT Kajang Line. The station was opened on 16 December 2016 when the first phase of the line was opened. RapidKL
Rapid KL (styled as ''rapidKL'') is a public transportation system owned by Prasarana Malaysia and operated by its subsidiaries Rapid Rail and Rapid Bus. With its coverage throughout Kuala Lumpur and Klang Valley areas, it was followed by a federal government restructuring of public transport systems in Kuala Lumpur after the bankruptcy of STAR and PUTRA Light Rapid Transit operators, the precursors to the Ampang/Sri Petaling Lines and Kelana Jaya Line respectively. In 2003, it had inherited bus services and assets formerly operated and owned by Intrakota and Cityliner after being bailed out. Kelana Jaya LRT Station
Kelana Jaya LRT station is a light rail station on the Kelana Jaya Line. It was the former western terminus for passenger services on the line. It is the start of the LRT Extension Project which extended the current terminus to Putra Heights station. It is also the namesake for the LRT line. The station is located besides the southbound carriageway on the Damansara–Puchong Expressway (LDP) between exit 1108 and 1109, although there is an overhead crossing for pedestrians to cross the highway. Located nearby are the neighbourhoods of SS2, Kelana Jaya (SS4 and SS5), and Taman Mayang (SS25).
