Municipal Museum Of The City (Rosario)
The Museum of the City (in Spanish, ''Museo de la Ciudad'') is a museum in Rosario, Argentina. It is located at 2300 Oroño Boulevard on a corner of the Parque de la Independencia, and is administered by the municipal government of Rosario. It was created on 24 August 1981 during the administration of mayor Alberto Natale. The museum was originally located at 1540 Oroño Bvld. in a property intended to be the mayor's residence. In the 1990s, the museum was moved to a new location: a building constructed in 1902 to house the park's administration and the Gardener's Apprentice School. The building was restored and adapted for its new function before officially re-opening on 27 August 1993. The museum's collection is composed of more than 7,000 objects, mostly everyday items as well as photographs and printed documents, books and periodicals; from the late 19th century to present. Oroño Boulevard
Oroño Boulevard (in Spanish, ''Bulevar Oroño'') is a street in Rosario, Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It is a two-way boulevard that runs north–south through the center-east of the city, from the coastal avenue by the Paraná River to the southern limit of the urbanized area. Together with the river and with Pellegrini Avenue, it also marks the unofficial limit of the downtown area. The downtown segment of the boulevard hosts a number of historical buildings and mansions formerly belonging to wealthy local families, in some cases transformed into institutional buildings (such as schools and private hospitals). This article is about the government of Rosario, the third most populated city in Argentina, and the largest in the province of Santa Fe. Rosario has about 910,000 inhabitants and is located on the western shore of the Paraná River. Emilia Bertolé
Emilia Bertolé or Ignacio Bertolé (1896–1949) was an Argentinian poet and painter. Life Bertolé was born in Rosario on 21 June 1896. She studied with the Italian teacher Mateo Casella at the Institute of Fine Arts "Doménico Morelli". She continued her painting and in 1912 she joined an exhibition with Erminio Blotta, Alfredo Guido, Manuel Musto, César Caggiano, Gustavo Cochet. left, Self portrait In 1927 she was the first woman to have her painting exhibited at the May Salon of the Santa Fe Museum "Rosa Galisteo Rodriguez".
