Frederick Muller
Frederick Muller (March 29, 1861 – June 9, 1946) was a sailor serving in the United States Navy during the Spanish–American War who received the Medal of Honor for bravery. Biography Muller was born March 29, 1861, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He emigrated to the United States and enlisted in the United States Navy. He served as a boatswain's mate during the Spanish–American War aboard the U.S.S. ''Wompatuck''. He received the Medal of Honor for displaying "heroism and gallantry" at the First Battle of Manzanillo in Cuba on June 30, 1898. Muller was warranted to boatswain on May 26, 1899, and was promoted to chief boatswain on May 26, 1905. During World War I he was promoted to lieutenant on July 1, 1918. As of early 1919 he was in command of the minesweeper USS ''Hubbard'' (SP-416) operating in European waters. Kirk Muller
Kirk Christopher Muller (born February 8, 1966) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger who played in the National Hockey League for 19 seasons from 1984–85 until 2002–03. He was also the head coach of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes from 2011 to 2014. He was an associate coach with the Montreal Canadiens from 2016 to 2021, where he previously served as assistant coach from 2006 to 2011. Playing career Muller started his junior career with the Kingston Canadians of the Ontario Hockey League, but his most successful junior seasons were with the Guelph Platers. There was a dispute in 1984 between the Platers and the Canadian Olympic Team, who wanted Muller to play with them at the 1984 Winter Olympics. The Platers owner was upset over losing Muller for so much time, but eventually they came to an agreement and Muller played in the Olympics. Jacques Léonard Muller (11 December 1749 – 1 October 1824) commanded the '' Army of the Western Pyrenees'' and the ''Army of the Rhine'' during the French Revolutionary Wars. He was a product of the French Royal Army which he joined in 1765. He became a captain in 1791 and soon formed a unit from the disbanded Swiss regiments of the old army. He fought at Jemappes and then transferred to the War Office. Promoted to general officer in July 1793 he was appointed chief of staff to the ''Army of the Pyrenees''. In October 1793 he assumed command of that army despite being outranked by ten other generals. He immediately set about providing a good organization for his motley host. Hermann Joseph Muller (December 21, 1890 – April 5, 1967) was an American geneticist, educator, and Nobel laureate best known for his work on the physiological and genetic effects of radiation (mutagenesis), as well as his outspoken political beliefs. The Henry J is an American automobile built by the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation and named after its chairman, Henry J. Kaiser. Production of six-cylinder models began in their Willow Run factory in Michigan on July 1950, and four-cylinder production started shortly after Labor Day, 1950. The official public introduction was on September 28, 1950. The car was marketed through 1954. Development The Henry J was the idea of Henry J. Kaiser, who sought to increase sales of his Kaiser automotive line by adding a car that could be built inexpensively and thus affordable for the average American in the same vein that Henry Ford produced the Model T. The goal was to attract "less affluent buyers who could only afford a used car" and the attempt became a pioneering American compact car.
