Moneybrother
Anders Olof Wendin (born 16 March 1975, Norrtälje, Sweden) is a Swedish rock musician, best known for his solo project Moneybrother. Career After the split-up of his ska-punk band Monster, Wendin took a new direction and released Moneybrother's debut album '' Blood Panic'' in 2003. His second album, '' To Die Alone'', was released in 2005. The music of Moneybrother can be described as a soul-oriented blend, incorporating influences from rock, reggae and disco. In December 2006, Moneybrother released his third album, '' Pengabrorsan''. The title is a literal Swedish translation of Moneybrother, and the album is his first in the Swedish language. It consists of cover versions of English songs, translated into Swedish. August 2007 saw the release of his fourth album '' Mount Pleasure'', which debuted at number one on the Swedish album chart. Så Mycket Bättre
Så mycket bättre (, "So Much Better") is a Swedish reality television show that airs on TV4. The basic premise is that each artist attempts to do their own version of another artist's well-known songs, with each person getting an episode featuring all of their songs being performed by the other musicians. The artists spend eight days together at a hotel in Gotland, where they attempt to put their own stamps on the songs. The first series premiered on 23 October 2010 and featured Lasse Berghagen, Barbro "Lill-Babs" Svensson, Petter Askergren, Thomas Di Leva, September, Christer Sandelin and Plura Jonsson. Monster (band)
Monster was a ska-punk band from Sweden that split up in 2000. They released two albums: ''Rockers Delight'' (1997), ''Gone Gone Gone/A Bash Dem'' (1999) and some EPs. Their singer Anders Wendin now has a solo project called Moneybrother, other band members are now with The Concretes. This band was formed in Stockholm when Wendin was about 19 years old. Indiana "Indy" Neidell (born 28 September 1967) is an American-Swedish documentarian, historian, actor, voice actor, musician and YouTube personality, best known for presenting the video series, ''The Great War'' on '' The Great War Channel'' which documented World War I in real time using modern research, various secondary sources and archival footage. A similar project, ''World War Two'' (about World War II) began in September 2018. Arvika Festival
Arvika Festival ( sv, Arvikafestivalen) was an annual music festival held in Arvika, Sweden. It took place during three days in the middle of July, from Thursday to Saturday, with camping available from the beginning of the week. The non-profit association "Galaxen" (Swedish for "The Galaxy") arranged the festival. Since the nineties, the festival had built up a tradition of booking many big synth bands. This was initially an unintended side effect: for the first festival in 1992 the arrangers had booked Cat Rapes Dog, Pouppée Fabrikk and S.P.O.C.K. and about 50% of the audience that showed up was actually mostly interested in these bands since no other festival booked many synth acts. "Downtown Train" is a song by Tom Waits released on his album '' Rain Dogs'' in 1985. The promo video for the song was directed by Jean-Baptiste Mondino and features boxer Jake LaMotta. Rod Stewart version British singer Rod Stewart recorded a cover version that became a number-three hit on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart after being released as a single in late 1989, and was also a number-one single on the album rock and adult contemporary charts.
