Miss Kosovo
Miss Kosovo (Miss Kosova) is a national Beauty pageant in Kosovo. Since 2008, Miss Kosova is responsible for selecting the country's representative to Miss Earth, which is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness. History 1994–2007: Early years In the years 1998, 2004 and 2005, the contest was not held. Between 1994 and 2007, whilst Kosovo was a part of Yugoslavia or just Serbia, the contest was confined to Kosovo and recognized only by its organizers. Pre-2008 winners of the contest were able to represent Miss Albania owing to agreements with its sister organisation across the border. Miss Universe Kosovo
Miss Universe Kosova is a national beauty pageant that sends representatives from Kosovo to the Miss Universe pageant. History In 2008, On 4 April 2008, Fadil Berisha - photographer of Miss Universe's official photos - hosted Kosova's inaugural pageant where Zana Krasniqi was crowned. She went on represent Kosova at the Miss Universe pageant. This was the first appearance in a Miss Universe pageant for Miss Kosova following the country's declaration of independence on February 17, 2008. In 2013 Fadil Berisha and Agnesa Vuthaj took control of Miss Kosovo and retrieved the Miss Universe franchise. This happened after the previous Miss Universe Kosovo director, Agron Selimi and team made the decision to send their winner to Miss World. Beauty is commonly described as a feature of objects that makes these objects pleasurable to perceive. Such objects include landscapes, sunsets, humans and works of art. Gjakova
Gjakova, ) and Đakovica ( sr-Cyrl, Ђаковица, ) is the seventh largest city of Kosovo and seat of Gjakova Municipality and Gjakova District. The city has 40,827 inhabitants, while the municipality has 94,556 inhabitants. Drenas
Drenas, also known as Gllogoc or Glogovac, is a town and municipality in central Kosovo. As of the 2011 census, there were 6,143 people residing in Drenas and 58,531 in the municipality. Peja ( Indefinite Albanian form: ''Pejë'' ) or Peć ( sr-Cyrl, Пећ ) is the fourth largest city of Kosovo and seat of Peja Municipality and Peja District. It is situated in the region of Rugova on the eastern section of the Accursed Mountains along Peja's Lumbardh in the western part of Kosovo. Adelina Ismaili (; born 14 December 1979) is a Kosovo-Albanian singer, actress, and former beauty pageant winner. Career Ismaili started singing at a very young age, becoming one of Kosovo's most influential singers during the 90s. She started competing in various children's festivals in the Albanian territories, such as the ''Akordet e Kosovës'', ''Festivali i këngës për fëmijë në RTSH'' and many others.
