Miss International 2022
Miss International 2022 was the 60th Miss International pageant, held at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan on December 13, 2022. Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand crowned Jasmin Selberg of Germany as her successor at the end of the event. The coronation was initially scheduled in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it moved at least twice; first in 2021, and later to December 13, 2022. The cancellations of 2020–21 marked the second time Miss International pageant has been cancelled since 1966, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pacifico Yokohama (パシフィコ横浜, ''Pashifiko Yokohama''), officially known as , is a convention and exhibition center in Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. The center located in the western tip of waterfront Minato Mirai 21 district is one of the largest MICE venues in the nation. The Conference Center and Yokohama Grand InterContinental Hotel were completed first on July 29, 1991 with the Exhibition Hall subsequently completed on October 12. On April 25, 1994, National Convention Hall of Yokohama was completed. In 2001 it was designated the main press centre for the 2002 FIFA World Cup and the Exhibition Hall was expanded. Miss International 2017, the 57th Miss International pageant, was held on November 14, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Kylie Verzosa of the Philippines crowned her successor Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia at the end of the event. Miss International 2012, the 52nd Miss International pageant, was held on October 21, 2012 at Okinawa Prefectural Budokan Arena Building in Okinawa, Japan. Fernanda Cornejo from Ecuador crowned her successor Ikumi Yoshimatsu from Japan at the end of the event. Yoshimatsu was dethroned shortly before the end of her reign, but she was not replaced. Miss International 2010, the 50th anniversary of the Miss International pageant, was held on November 7, 2010 at the Sichuan Province Gymnasium in Chengdu, China. Miss International 2009, Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico crowned her successor, Elizabeth Mosquera of Venezuela, at the end of the event. Seventy contestants competed for the title, the highest turnout in the history of Miss International at the time.
