Miss Chinese Vancouver
Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant (Chinese: 溫哥華華裔小姐競選), also known as MCV and formerly branded as Miss Chinese (Vancouver) Pageant, is an annual beauty pageant organized by Fairchild TV that selects Vancouver's representative for the annual Miss Chinese International Pageant that is held in Hong Kong, organized by TVB. The current Miss Chinese Vancouver is Yi Yi Wang (王一亦) winner of the 2022 pageant. The pageant replaced the Miss Vancouver Chinatown Pageant, which selected Vancouver's representatives to the Miss Chinese International Pageant from 1988 to 1995. It is one of the most recognized beauty pageants among Chinese Canadian diaspora, alongside its Toronto counterpart. Ekin Cheng
Ekin Cheng is a Hong Kong actor and singer. Early in his career, he used the name Dior as a first name (because that was what it sounded like when his younger sister tried to call him 二哥 in Cantonese). He has also been referred to as Noodle Cheng, () after a popular noodle dish with a similar name and his wavy long hair. Currently Ekin is the name used. Tan Kheng Seong (Simplified Chinese: 陈庆祥; Traditional Chinese: 陳慶祥; ), better known by his stage namAh Niu or Ah Gu(), is a Malaysian Chinese singer in Malaysia and Singapore. Benny Yau
Benny Yau (Traditional Chinese: 邱穟恆), born 8 May 1980 is a Canadian television presenter, singer, and actor known for hosting '' What's On'' on Fairchild TV, and as the lead singer of the band The WestCoast Players. Career Yau entered a DJ competition in May 1999 for a Vancouver Chinese radio station CHMB AM 1320 (華僑之聲) and placed fourth. He then entered the station in hopes of becoming a successful radio DJ. He was set to host a weekly late night music program in September 1999. However, within weeks of those plans being made, they were put on hold by the station indefinitely. Angus Tung (; born 26 July 1959) is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter and record producer from the mid-1980s to mid-1990s.
