Southport is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Fairfield, Connecticut. It is located along Long Island Sound between Mill River and Sasco Brook, where it borders Westport. Hemlock Reservoir
The Hemlock Reservoir is a reservoir in Fairfield, Connecticut, United States. Its completion was marked by the creation of the Hemlock Reservoir Dam, which was completed in 1914, and provides water to Fairfield, Bridgeport, and several other nearby towns. Samp Mortar Lake
Samp is an African food consisting of dried corn kernels that have been pounded and chopped until broken, but not as finely ground as mealie-meal or mielie rice.
