Milenio
''Milenio'' is a major national newspaper in Mexico, owned by Grupo Multimedios. It is published in 11 cities across Mexico, including Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara, León, Pachuca, Puebla, Villahermosa, Tampico, Torreón, Toluca, and Xalapa. In each local edition they include local content and national news developed by the media group, not only from their newspaper reporters, but also from Multimedios Televisión and Multimedios Radio. It started in Monterrey as ''Diario de Monterrey'', and expanded to other cities in the first decade of the 21st century. Canal 6 (alternately known as Multimedios Televisión) is a network of Spanish language television stations primarily concentrated in northeastern Mexico and the southwestern United States. The system is part of Grupo Multimedios. The flagship station of Multimedios is XHAW-TDT located in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Programming features locally produced news, sports, children's shows and general mass appeal variety programming. On weekdays, the network produces around twenty hours of live daily programming, with lesser amounts during the weekends and holidays. Throughout its broadcast week, the network produces 58 hours of news programming per week under the branding of ''Telediario'', including a Sunday night public affairs program, ''Cambios''. Milenio Televisión is a Mexican television cable news channel owned by Grupo Multimedios. The news programming uses the resources of the Milenio newspaper, one of the largest in the country. Grupo Multimedios
Grupo Multimedios is a Mexican media conglomerate with holdings in broadcast television, radio, publishing and entertainment. The company is headquartered in Monterrey. History Multimedios was founded in 1940 when Jesús Dionisio González acquired Monterrey radio station XEX, where he had formerly worked, for 12,500 pesos. After World War II, the Mexican government requested the XEX callsign to build a national clear-channel station, and González selected the XEAW call letters, which had formerly belonged to a station in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. In the 1950s, the group became known as ''Organización Estrellas de Oro'' ("Gold Stars Organization"), which in the 1990s changed its name to ''Multimedios Estrellas de Oro'' and later Grupo Multimedios. Ciro Gómez Leyva
Ciro Gómez Leyva (born October 10, 1957) is a Mexican news anchor and personality. He hosts the main newscast on Imagen Televisión and a morning radio program, ''Ciro por la Mañana'' (Ciro in the Morning), for Radio Fórmula. Gómez Leyva has also written for newspapers and managed radio and television stations, including the Sistema de Radio y Televisión Mexiquense and Milenio Televisión. Life Born in Mexico City, Gómez studied communications at the Universidad Iberoamericana and earned a master's degree in sociology from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Andrés Manuel López Obrador (; born 13 November 1953), also known by his initials AMLO, is a Mexican politician who has been serving as the 65th president of Mexico since 1 December 2018. He previously served as Head of Government of Mexico City from 2000 to 2005. Vicente Fox Quesada (; born 2 July 1942) is a Mexican businessman and politician who served as the 62nd president of Mexico from 1 December 2000 to 30 November 2006. Torreón
Torreón () is a city and seat of Torreón Municipality in the Mexican state of Coahuila. As of 2021, the city's population was 735,340. Enrique Peña Nieto (; born 20 July 1966), commonly referred to by his initials EPN, is a Mexican politician who served as the 64th president of Mexico from 1 December 2012 to 30 November 2018.
