Mile Nakić
Ante "Mile" Nakić (born 8 January 1942) is a Croatian former professional renowned water polo coach and water polo player. He worked as the head coach of the Yugoslavia national team from 1982 to 1983, while from 1992 to 1995 he coached the Greece national team. Franko Nakić ( el, Φράνκο Νάκιτς; born June 9, 1972) is a Croatian-Greek retired professional basketball player. Under his Greek nationality, he is known by the name of Franko Nakits. Early life Nakić was born in Šibenik, to his father, Mile Nakić, who is a Croatian sportsman and water polo coach. He moved to Greece to live, and gained Greek citizenship. Professional career Nakić started his career with Olympiacos. He played with Olympiacos from 1992 to 1998, winning 5 Greek League championships (1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997) and 2 Greek Cups (1994, 1997). In 1997, Nakić won the EuroLeague championship, Greek League championship, and the Greek Cup all in the same season, thus winning the coveted Triple Crown. The Greek Water Polo cup is the second most important competition of Greek men's waterpolo and is organised by KOE (Hellenic Swimming Federation). It was first held in 1953. Initially started as a competition in memory of Pantelis Psychas, Greek athlete of the swimming. The competition was interrupted from 1959 to 1983. Moreover, it wasn't held in 1993-94 season. Ratko Rudić
Ratko Rudić (born 7 June 1948 in Belgrade, PR Serbia, FPR Yugoslavia) is a retired Croatian water polo coach and a former water polo player. , he has won 38 medals as a coach at major events, making him the most successful water polo coach in history, and second most successful team sport coach of all time. He won four gold medals, of which three consecutive, with three different national teams at the Summer Olympics, as well as three gold medals with three national teams at the World Championships, among many others.
