Mike Moyle
Mike Moyle (born December 7, 1964) is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives since 1998 in the District 14 A seat. Moyle serves has Idaho House Speaker since 2022. Moyle was the House Majority Leader from December 7, 2006 to 2022. As of 2022, he is the longest serving current member of the Idaho House of Representatives. Education Moyle graduated from Meridian High School and attended Brigham Young University. Idaho House of Representatives Moyle challenged Representative Dave Bivens in the 1998 Republican Primary and won the nomination by 8 votes. He was elected in the general election and has been reelected every two years since. He currently serves as House Majority Leader, a position he has held since 2006. He previously served as Majority Caucus Chairman from 2002–2006. In 2021, Moyle proposed a bill which would make it a felony to "collect or convey" other people's ballots. Ada County, Idaho
Ada County is located in the southwestern part of Idaho, United States. As of the 2021 United States census estimate, the county had a population of 511,931, making it by far the state's most populous county; it is home to 26.8% of the state's population. The county seat and largest city is Boise, which is also the state capital. Ada County is included in the Boise metropolitan area. The Ada County Highway District has jurisdiction over all the local county and city streets, except for private roads and state roads. Ben Ysursa
Ben T. Ysursa (born June 10, 1949) is an American attorney and politician who served as the Secretary of State of Idaho from 2003 to 2015. Early life and education A native of Boise, Idaho, Ysursa graduated from Bishop Kelly High School in 1967. He earned a bachelor's degree from Gonzaga University in 1971 and a Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law in 1974. Career Ysursa was admitted to the Idaho State Bar in 1974. From 1974 to 2003, Ysursa served in the Idaho Secretary of State office under his predecessor, Pete T. Cenarrusa. He held the positions of Deputy Secretary of State (1974–1976) and Chief Deputy Secretary of State (1976–2003). Ysursa was elected Secretary of State in 2002 with 77.5 percent of the vote. He was reelected unopposed in 2006. Ysursa was elected to a third term in 2010, defeating Democratic nominee Mack Sermon with 74.3 percent of the vote.
