Mike Goff (American Football)
Michael Jason Goff (born January 6, 1976) is a former American football Guard (American football), guard and coach. He currently serves as an Offensive Line coach at San Diego State. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. He played college football at Iowa Hawkeyes football, Iowa. Early years Goff is a 1994 graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School in LaSalle, Illinois. In his last season at LaSalle-Peru, Goff was a team captain and had 34 tackles, 24 assists and two sacks at defensive tackle which earned him All-America honors from Blue Chip Illustrated. He also was Illinois's sectional heavyweight wrestling champion and finished 6th at the state tournament. College career Goff played in 47 games (24 starts) during his four-year career at Iowa (1994-1997). In his freshman campaign Goff played in 11 games. Guard (American Football)
In gridiron football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is a player who lines up between the center and the tackles on the offensive line of a football team on the line of scrimmage used primarily for blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. Guards are to the right or left of the center. The guard's job is to protect the quarterback from the incoming linemen during pass plays, as well as creating openings (holes) for the running backs to head through. Marcus McNeil
Marcus McNeill (born November 16, 1983) is a former American college and professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for six seasons. He played college football for Auburn University, and was two-time All-American. The San Diego Chargers selected McNeill in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft, and he played his entire pro career for the Chargers. He was selected for the Pro Bowl twice. Early years McNeill was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Cedar Grove High School in southern DeKalb County, Georgia (a suburb of Atlanta), and played both offensive and defensive line for the Cedar Grove Saints, earning SuperPrep All-American honors. LaDainian Tomlinson
LaDainian Tarshane Tomlinson (born June 23, 1979) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 11 seasons. After a successful college career with the TCU Horned Frogs, the San Diego Chargers selected him as the fifth overall pick in the 2001 NFL Draft. He spent nine years with the Chargers, earning five Pro Bowl appearances, three Associated Press first-team All-Pro nominations, and two NFL rushing titles. Kris Dielman
Kristopher M. Dielman (born February 3, 1981) is an American former professional football player who was a guard for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He played college football for Indiana University. The Chargers signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2003, and he played his entire professional career for the Chargers.
