Michel Henri Aumont (15 October 1936 – 28 August 2019) was a French theatre, film, and television actor. Throughout his career, he gained four Molière Awards and nominations for three César Awards. Michel Drach (18 October 1930 in Paris – 14 February 1990 in Paris) was a French film director, writer, producer and actor. Life and career Drach was born in Paris, France, the son of Yvonne (Vanderheym) and Maurice Drach. His family was Jewish. After studying painting at the Académie des Beaux-Arts, he became involved in cinema as an assistant to his cousin Jean-Pierre Melville. He directed three short films under his production company Port Royal Films, including the ''Poor Man's Soliloquies'' (1951) and ''Auditorium'' (1957), then made his feature film debut with ''On n'enterre pas le dimanche'' (1959), a study on the existential solitude of a black person in Paris, which coincided with the French New Wave and earned him the Louis Delluc Prize. Luis García-Berlanga Martí (12 June 1921 – 13 November 2010) was a Spanish film director and screenwriter. Acclaimed as a pioneer of modern Spanish cinema, his films are marked by social satire and acerbic critiques of Spanish culture under the Francoist dictatorship. Life and career When he was young, Berlanga decided to study law and then philosophy, but in 1947 he decided to enter the Institute of Cinematographic Investigations and Experiences (Instituto de Investigaciones y Experiencias Cinematográficas) in Madrid. In his youth he enrolled in the Blue Division in the Eastern Front of World War II to avoid his father's execution as a Republican politician. His debut as a film director in 1951 was with the film ''That Happy Couple'' in which he worked with Juan Antonio Bardem.
