Mexican Pacific League
The Mexican Pacific League (), known as Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico for sponsorship reasons or simply LMP for its acronym in Spanish, is a professional baseball winter league based in Northern Mexico. The ten-team regular season schedule runs from October to December and is followed by a playoff series in January to determine the league champion. The league's champion takes part in the Caribbean Series each year, representing Mexico. History In 1945, a group of people led by Teodoro Mariscal established the Liga de la Costa del Pacífico ( en, Pacific Coast League). The league's first season (1945–46) started with four teams: Tacuarineros de Culiacán, Ostioneros de Guaymas, Queliteros de Hermosillo and Venados de Mazatlán. Charros De Jalisco
The Charros de Jalisco ( en, Jalisco Horsemen) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Zapopan, Jalisco. Their home ballpark is Estadio Panamericano, and has a capacity of 16,500 people. Their initial season was 2014–15. Sonora

Guasave
Guasave () is a city and the seat of the homonymous municipality in the Mexican state of Sinaloa. It is located in the northwestern part of Mexico, southeast of the city of Los Mochis. It stands at . In the 2010 census, the city reported a population of 71,196, making it the fourth-largest community in the state, after Culiacán, Mazatlán, and Los Mochis. The Algodoneros de Guasave ( en, Guasave Cotton Growers) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican Pacific League based in Guasave, Sinaloa. They won the league championship in 1972. The team was purchased in April 2014 by a group of investors led by Armando Navarro. The team was moved to Guadalajara and began play in the 2014-15 season as the third incarnation of the Charros de Jalisco. The Sultanes de Monterrey ( en, Monterrey Sultans) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Monterrey, Mexico. They compete in the Northern Division.
