Mercedes-Benz C217
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupé and Convertible (C217/A217) are grand tourers manufactured by Mercedes-Benz from 2014 to 2020. The C217 model succeeded the C216 CL-Class and is the last version of the S-Class coupé. It is also the first Mercedes coupé to carry the S-Class name since the C126 model. Twin-turbo (not to be confused with a twincharger setup, which is a combination of a supercharger and a turbocharger) refers to an engine in which two turbochargers work in tandem to compress the intake fuel/air mixture (or intake air, in the case of a direct-injection engine). The most common layout features two identical or mirrored turbochargers in parallel, each processing half of a V engine's produced exhaust through independent piping. The Mercedes-AMG SL (model code R232) is the seventh-generation of the Mercedes-Benz SL-Class roadster, replacing the R231 model.
