McBusted (album)
''McBusted'' is the self-titled debut and only studio album by the English pop punk supergroup McBusted. It was released through Island Records on 1 December 2014. The album was preceded by the release of lead single " Air Guitar", which peaked at number 12 in the United Kingdom. The album received positive reviews from music critics. It debuted at number nine on the UK Albums Chart, whilst also making 31 in the Republic of Ireland. Background and development In November 2013, it was announced that Busted's James Bourne and Matt Willis would come together with McFly and tour together as the supergroup "McBusted". Between April and June 2014, they performed 42 sold-out shows across the UK and Ireland, playing Busted and McFly's greatest hits. They also headlined British Summer Time in Hyde Park on 6 July. McBusted
McBusted were an English pop-punk supergroup composed of members from bands McFly (Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, and Harry Judd) and Busted (James Bourne and Matt Willis). The only member of the original groups not participating in the new lineup was former Busted guitarist and vocalist Charlie Simpson, who instead opted to focus on his solo career and his rock band Fightstar. Having previously appeared as special guests during McFly's tenth-anniversary concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, it was announced on 11 November 2013 that former Busted members Bourne and Willis would join McFly to form the six-piece supergroup "McBusted" and go on an arena tour in April and May 2014. All Time Low is an American rock band from Towson, Maryland, formed in 2003. Consisting of lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Alex Gaskarth, lead guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist/backing vocalist Zack Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson, the band took its name from lyrics in the song "Head on Collision" by New Found Glory. The band has consistently done year-long tours, has headlined numerous tours, and has appeared at music festivals including Warped Tour, Reading and Leeds, and Soundwave. Mark Allan Hoppus (born March 15, 1972) is an American musician, songwriter and record producer best known as the bassist and co-lead vocalist for the rock band Blink-182, being the only constant member and the only one to appear on every album. He is also part of pop rock duo Simple Creatures with All Time Low frontman Alex Gaskarth. Hoppus became interested in skateboarding and punk rock in junior high, and received a bass guitar from his father at the age of 15. Thomas Michael Fletcher (born 17 July 1985) is an English singer, musician, songwriter, composer, author and vlogger. He is one of the lead vocalists and rhythm guitarist of English pop rock band McFly, in addition to being the group's founder. He originally auditioned for, and was accepted into the band Busted before losing out on the place after the record label decided the band should be a trio rather than a four-piece, but still carried on writing with the band.
