The mayor of Taguig ( fil, Punong Lungsod ng Taguig) is the head of the local government of the city of Taguig who is elected to three year terms. The mayor is also the executive head and leads the city's departments in executing the city ordinances and improving public services. The city mayor is restricted to three consecutive terms, totaling nine years, although a mayor can be elected again after an interruption of one term. Lani Cayetano of Nacionalista Party is the incumbent since 2022. Lani Cayetano
Maria Laarni "Lani" Lopez Cayetano (born Maria Laarni Clariño Lopez; December 11, 1981) is a Filipina politician who is the current Mayor of Taguig from 2010 to 2019 and again since 2022. She previously served as the Representative of the 1st district of Taguig-Pateros from 2007 to 2010 and again, this time of the 2nd district, from 2019 to 2022. Lino Edgardo Schramm Cayetano (born January 4, 1978) is a Filipino politician and television director who served as the Mayor of Taguig from 2019 to 2022. He previously served as the representative of the 2nd district of Taguig from 2013 to 2016, and was the Barangay Chairman of Fort Bonifacio from 2010 to 2013.
