Jay North (born August 3, 1951) is an American actor. His career as a child actor began in the late 1950s with roles in eight TV series, two variety shows and three feature films. At age 7 he became a household name for his role as the well-meaning but mischievous Dennis Mitchell on the CBS situation comedy '' Dennis the Menace'' (1959–1963), based on the comic strip created by Hank Ketcham. As a teen North had roles in two Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer feature films: ''Zebra in the Kitchen'' and ''Maya''. Maxwell Shane (August 26, 1905 – October 25, 1983) was an American movie and television director, screenwriter, and producer. Biography Before embarking in a career in show business, Shane studied law at USC and UCLA law schools. He later became a journalist and moved on to become a Hollywood publicist. Along with David Hillman (father of musician Chris Hillman), he founded the Hillman-Shane Advertising Agency, in Los Angeles. Shane later became a screenwriter. Most of his early work was for forgettable low-budget films. Sayedna Iftekhar Ahmed Sharif (22 February 1924 – 4 March 1995), often mononymously credited as Iftekhar, was an Indian actor who mainly worked in Hindi cinema. He is known for his role as a police officer. Career Iftekhar was born in Jalandhar and was the eldest among four brothers and a sister. After completing his matriculation, Iftekhar did a diploma course in painting from Lucknow College Of Arts.
