Max Vieri
Massimiliano Vieri (born 1 September 1978) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is in charge as assistant youth coach for Fiorentina Under-18. Born in Sydney to Italian parents, he won six caps for the Australia national team between 2004 and 2005. Biography Vieri is the son of player Roberto Vieri and brother of Italian star Christian Vieri. He was born in Sydney where he grew up. In 1996 he and his family relocated to Italy. Club career Vieri was sold to Brescello in co-ownership deal for 30 million lire (€15,494) in 1999. In 2000 Juventus bought back Vieri for undisclosed fee (his brother Christian had also previously played for the club during the 1996–97 Serie A season). ACF Fiorentina
ACF Fiorentina, commonly referred to as Fiorentina (), is an Italian professional football club based in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The original team was founded by a merger in August 1926, while the actual club was refounded in August 2002 following bankruptcy. Roberto Vieri
Roberto Vieri (born 14 February 1946) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a striker, and also as a central attacking midfielder or winger. Active in both Italy and Australia, Vieri made nearly 300 professional career league appearances, scoring over 50 goals. He also represented Italy at under-23 level, scoring a goal in five appearances. Personal life Vieri was born in Prato. His sons Christian and Max are also professional footballers, who both appeared at the international level respectively for Italy and Australia. Career Vieri started playing in the Fiorentina youth system before being loaned to Prato during the 1964–65 season, where he scored 11 goals in 24 matches and caused interest by Sampdoria of Serie B. 2004 OFC Nations Cup
The 2004 OFC Nations Cup was the edition of the tournament for the OFC Nations Cup and doubled as the qualification tournament to the 2006 FIFA World Cup, except the two-legged final. A separate playoff between Australia and Solomon Islands was held in September 2005, for World Cup Qualifying purposes. The competition was divided in two Group stages (the first is the Qualifying Stage), with Australia and New Zealand seeded into the second stage (Final Stage). The Oceania champion (Australia) qualified for the 2005 FIFA Confederations Cup. Qualification The 10 teams in the first round were divided into two sections of five teams each. OFC Nations Cup
The OFC Nations Cup is an international association football tournament held among the OFC member nations. It was held every two years from 1996 to 2004; before 1996 there were two other tournaments held at irregular intervals, under the name Oceania Nations Cup. No competition was held in 2006, but in the 2008 edition, which also acted as a qualification tournament for the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup and for a play-off for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the New Zealand national football team emerged as winners. Historically, a very large gulf separated Australia and New Zealand from the smaller island competitors, and little attention was paid to the tournament by the rest of the football world. Renato Buso (born 19 December 1969) is an Italian professional football coach and a former player who was deployed as a forward or as a midfielder. Club career Born in Treviso, Buso initially began his career playing as a striker or as a centre-forward with Juventus in Serie A in 1985, at the age of 16, immediately winning the 1985–86 Serie A title and the 1985 Intercontinental Cup, although he was mainly a reserve player at the club, behind forwards Aldo Serena, Ian Rush, and Alessandro Altobelli. Lamberto Zauli
Lamberto Zauli (born 19 July 1971) is an Italian professional football coach and former player who is the head coach of club Crotone. As a player, he spent his career as an attacking midfielder, but was also capable of playing on the left wing on occasion. Club career Born in Rome, Lamberto grew up in Grosseto, playing in the youth squad of U.S. Grosseto, the same club of his father Lorenzo. Mauro Germán Camoranesi Serra (, ; born 4 October 1976) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a right midfielder or right winger. Camoranesi began his career in Argentina in 1995, where he played for Aldosivi and Banfield, also having spells in Mexico with Santos Laguna and Cruz Azul, and in Uruguay with Wanderers.
