Massachusetts Route 12 is a north-south state highway that runs through central Massachusetts from a continuation of Connecticut Route 12 at the Connecticut state line at Dudley to the New Hampshire state line at Winchendon where it continues north as New Hampshire Route 12. Route description Route 12 begins at the Connecticut border, from which it continues south as Connecticut Route 12, in Dudley. The route initially proceeds northward along the western side of the French River. After , it intersects Route 197 and turns northeast, crossing the river into Webster. Hope Cemetery (Worcester, Massachusetts)
Hope Cemetery is an historic rural cemetery at 119 Webster Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. Established in 1854, it was the city's sixth public cemetery, and is the burial site of remains originally interred at its first five cemeteries. Its southern terminus is at Route 12 in Oxford and its northern terminus is at Route 68 in Rutland. Oxford is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 13,347 as of the 2020 United States Census. History Oxford was first settled in 1687 and was officially incorporated in 1713. It was the birthplace of Clara Barton, the first president and founder of the American Red Cross. Route 16 is a east–west state highway in Massachusetts. It begins in the west at an intersection with Route 12 and Route 193 in Webster, just north of the Connecticut state border. It runs in a generally southwest-northeast routing through a number of Boston's suburbs and runs to the west and then north of the city before ending in Revere at an intersection with Route 1A and Route 60.
