Maserati Alfieri
The Maserati Alfieri is a grand tourer from the Italian car manufacturer Maserati. It was shown as a concept car at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. Concept __NOTOC__ The car is named after Alfieri Maserati (1887–1932), one of the five Maserati Brothers, and marks the 100 year anniversary of the carmaker, which was established in 1914 at Bologna. It was developed at the Centro Stile FCA in Turin. The chief designer was Marco Tencone, while the exterior chief designer was Giovanni Ribotta. The project was managed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, who has been the director of ''Centro Stile'' since 2007 and in 2014 was the head of Fiat-Chrysler Global Design. The ''Alfieri'' uses design elements of the Maserati A6 GCS/54 designed by Pininfarina in 1954. Maserati S.p.A. () is an Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer. Established on 1 December 1914, in Bologna, Italy, the company's headquarters are now in Modena, and its emblem is a trident. The company has been owned by Stellantis since 2021. Maserati was initially associated with Ferrari. The Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio are a series of a grand tourers produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Maserati. They succeeded the 2-door V8 grand tourers offered by the company, the Maserati Coupé, and Spyder. GranTurismo I (M145, 2007~2019) The first generation of Maserati GranTurismo(''Tipo M145'') is unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, and is built between 2007 and December 2019. Maserati A6 were a series of grand tourers, racing sports cars and single seaters made by Maserati of Italy between 1947 and 1956. They were named for Alfieri Maserati (one of the Maserati brothers, founders of Maserati) and for their straight-six engine. The 1.5-litre straight-six was named ''A6 TR'' (''Testa Riportata'' for its detachable cylinder head), and was based on the pre-war Maserati 6CM; . It first appeared in the A6 Sport or Tipo 6CS/46, a barchetta prototype, developed by Ernesto Maserati and Alberto Massimino. Lorenzo Ramaciotti
Lorenzo Ramaciotti (born 1948) is an Italian car designer. Ramaciotti started his career with Pininfarina in 1972 and retired in 2005. In 2007 he became Group Chief of Design at Fiat Group Automobiles, responsible for all the Fiat Group brands, including Alfa Romeo, Lancia and Maserati. In 2015 he was replaced by Ralph Gilles. Career Ramaciotti was born in Modena. He graduated from Polytechnic University of Turin with a degree in mechanical engineering in 1972, and joined Pininfarina after graduating. He was appointed General Manager of Pininfarina Studi e Ricerche in early 1988 and in 2002 became Managing Director and CEO of Pininfarina Ricerca and Sviluppo and retired in 2005.
