Martin Villarama
Martin S. Villarama Jr. (born April 14, 1946) is a Filipino lawyer who served as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from November 3, 2009, to January 16, 2016. Prior to his appointment as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, he served as Associate Justice of the Court of Appeals since March 11, 1998. He also served in the Regional Trial Court of Pasig as Judge from 1986 to 1998 and as its Executive Judge from 1992 to 1996. Early life and education Villarama was born on April 14, 1946. He obtained his degree in Business Administration from De La Salle University. He took Bachelor of Laws from Manuel L. Quezon University. Reynato Puno y Serrano, KGCR (Filipino: ''Reynato Serrano Puno''; born May 17, 1940) is a Filipino jurist. He served as the 22nd Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines from December 8, 2006 by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo until his mandatory retirement on May 17, 2010. Puno had initially been appointed to the Supreme Court as an Associate Justice on June 28, 1993. Renato Tereso Antonio Coronado Corona (October 15, 1948 – April 29, 2016) was a Filipino judge who was the 23rd chief justice of the Philippines from 2010 to 2012. He served as an associate justice after being appointed by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on April 9, 2002, and later as Chief Justice on May 12, 2010, upon the retirement of Chief Justice Reynato Puno.
