Martin Asbury is a British people, British comics artist, comic and storyboard artist, best known for drawing the ''Garth (comic strip), Garth'' strip in the ''Daily Mirror'' from 1976 to 1997, and for his colour TV adaptations in ''Look-in''. Biography Asbury was educated at Merchant Taylors' School, Northwood, Merchant Taylors School and at Saint Martin's School of Art, London, and started work in strip cartoons, including assisting Dan Barry (comics), Dan Barry on ''Flash Gordon'' in Austria. After a period designing greetings cards, he got work at D. C. Thomson & Co. Ltd, D. C. ''Cannon'' is an American detective television series produced by Quinn Martin that aired from 1971 to 1976 on CBS. William Conrad played the title character, private detective Frank Cannon. The series was the first Quinn Martin production to run on a network other than ABC. In total, there were 122 episodes, plus the series' two-hour pilot and a 1980 "revival" television film, ''The Return of Frank Cannon''. Synopsis Cannon was portrayed in the series as a veteran of the Korean War and a former member of the Los Angeles Police Department. ''Warrior'' was a British comics anthology that ran for 26 issues between March 1982 and January 1985. It was edited by Dez Skinn and published by his company Quality Communications. The ''Daily Express'' is a national daily United Kingdom middle-market newspaper printed in tabloid format. Published in London, it is the flagship of Express Newspapers, owned by publisher Reach plc. It was first published as a broadsheet in 1900 by Sir Arthur Pearson. Björn Rune Borg (; born 6 June 1956) is a Swedish former world No. 1 tennis player. Between 1974 and 1981, he became the first man in the Open Era to win 11 Grand Slam singles titles with six at the French Open and five consecutively at Wimbledon.
