Marlous Fluitsma
Maria Louise Clara Albertine Fluitsma (born 12 December 1946), known as Marlous Fluitsma, is a Dutch actress, known for her roles in Dutch films and on television in various Dutch language series. She was well-known to Europeans outside the Netherlands for hosting the Eurovision Song Contest 1980, held in The Hague. Early life Fluitsma grew up in Nijmegen where her father was a teacher. After her studies at the Stage Acting Academy in Maastricht, she played for the Groot Limburgs Toneel (the largest acting group in Limburg province) and for the Haagse Comedie (The Hague Comedy Group). Career credits She became better known when she played the lead role in a play written by Herman van Veen: ''De Spinse'' (1973). She appeared in the movies ''Uit elkaar'' (1979) and ''Ik ben Joep Meloen'' (1981), as well as the television series ''Pommetje Horlepiep'' (1976) and ''De Fabriek'' (1981). Johnny Logan (singer)
Seán Patrick Michael Sherrard (born 13 May 1954), better known by his stage name Johnny Logan, is an Irish singer and composer. He is known as being the only performer to have won the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1980 and 1987. He also composed the winning song in 1992. Logan first won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1980, with the song "What's Another Year" written by Shay Healy. In 1984, Logan composed the song " Terminal 3" which placed second at Eurovision, performed by Linda Martin. He won the contest for a second time in 1987 with " Hold Me Now", which he also wrote himself. His third win came in 1992, as composer of Linda Martin's winning entry " Why Me?". Daniel Pe'er (born Daniel Freudenreich, he, דניאל פאר; January 2, 1943 – September 28, 2017) was an Israeli television host and newsreader. Early life Daniel Freudenreich was born in Jerusalem, British Mandate of Palestine, to a Jewish family. He studied at Balfour school and the Ironi Aleph High School in Tel Aviv. He served in the Israel Defense Forces as a psychotechnical interviewer. Yardena Shulamit Arazi (born Yardena Finebaum; he, ירדנה ארזי; September 25, 1951) is an Israeli singer and entertainer. In 2008 Arazi was named the most popular Israeli singer of all time at the 60th Independence Day celebration. Early life Yardena Finebaum was born on kibbutz Kabri, Israel, to a Jewish family. Her father was an immigrant from Germany who was an Irgun veteran and one of the founders of kibbutz Beit HaArava. Her mother was an immigrant from France with origins in Poland and Ukraine, and was a cousin of Marcel Marceau. At the age of two, her family moved to Haifa, Israel, where she grew up. The Eurovision Song Contest is an annual international song competition, held every year by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) since 1956. Zutphen
Zutphen () is a city and municipality located in the province of Gelderland, Netherlands. It lies some 30 km northeast of Arnhem, on the eastern bank of the river Ijssel at the point where it is joined by the Berkel. Soest () is a municipality and a town in the central Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. It is about west of Amersfoort. Population centres The town of Soest The oldest documents mentioning Soest (then written as ''Zoys'') date from 1029. Its oldest church (the ''Oude Kerk'', meaning ''Old Church''), which is still in use today, dates from the fifteenth century. Traces of earlier habitation are found though.
