Marine Parade Records
Marine Parade is an independent record label set up and owned by the electronic music DJ and producer Adam Freeland in 1998. Details The name of the label originates from the street on which Freeland used to live in his hometown of Brighton, United Kingdom. The label released Evil Nine's '' You Can Be Special Too'' album in 2004. The imprint's output has spanned everything from classic dance-music anthems like Freeland's ''We Want Your Soul'' and ILS' ''Next Level'' to Jape's space-folk hit ''Floating''. Marine Parade has released electronic albums such as Freeland's ''Now&Them'', Evil Nine's ''You Can Be Special Too'', and ILS' ''Soul Trader''. Many remixes have been commissioned from other dance-music acts, like Prins Thomas, Switch and D.I.M, and featured collaborations with Aesop Rock, Josh Wink and Tom Middleton. An independent record label (or indie label) is a record label that operates without the funding or distribution of major record labels; they are a type of small- to medium-sized enterprise, or SME. Richard File
Richard File (born 19 November 1975) is a British composer, music producer, and vocalist best known for his work with James Lavelle as part of Unkle. He has also released singles under the alias Forme. Career File joined Unkle in 1999, having remixed "Unreal" (from the debut album '' Psyence Fiction'') with added vocals from Ian Brown. For the subsequent Unkle albums ''Never, Never, Land'' (2004) and '' War Stories'' (2007), File is credited with piano, organ, synthesizer, guitar, and vocals, as well as co-production. K-Swing, real name Kathryn "Katie" Kabel, is an American DJ/ Producer specializing in electronic dance music, specifically ''Rockbeat'' (coined for being a mixture of rock and roll and breakbeat) and electro house. Illian Walker, better known as Ils or iLS, is an English musician and producer, who has released records on labels including Marine Parade and Distinct'ive Records. Born in London, Ils started his production career on LTJ Bukem's drum and bass label, Good Looking Records. He was signed to Marine Parade by owner Adam Freeland, who cited Ils' unique breaks production. Ils is influenced by electro, funk, and techno artists in his ''Idiots Behind the Wheel'' album. Siriusmo
Moritz Friedrich, better known by his stage name Siriusmo, is a Berlin-based German record producer. Initially influenced by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Squarepusher, and Aphex Twin, his tracks can be broadly defined as electronic, and are formulated with a variety of samples. Biography The first band that Moritz Friedrich is known to have been in was a group called Sirius. After growing bored of playing the same songs, Moritz left Sirius, taking the band name with him. Guilherme Boratto (born 1974 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian electronic music producer. In the 1990s, he was a member of Sect. His debut solo album '' Chromophobia'' was awarded the title of Mixmag Album of the Month. Regarding why he chose the name Chromophobia, Boratto said: "The same meaning as monochromatism in architecture, which means simplicity. That’s all. I don’t have a morbid fear of colors at all.
