Marie Barch
Marie Barch (née ''Knudsen''; 1744 – 31 March 1827), was a Danish ballerina. She was a pioneer within her profession in her country. The Royal Danish Theatre (RDT, Danish: ') is both the national Danish performing arts institution and a name used to refer to its old purpose-built venue from 1874 located on Kongens Nytorv in Copenhagen. The theatre was founded in 1748, first serving as the theatre of the king, and then as the theatre of the country. Pietro Mingotti
Pietro Mingotti (born Venice, c. 1702; died Copenhagen, 28 April 1759) was an Italian impresario active across continental Europe. His brother, Angelo, formed an opera company in Prague around 1732, consisting of three male singers and five females; Pietro quickly followed suit, and the two troupes achieved European-wide success (though mostly in German and Austrian cities), sometimes performing together. Pietro's company, the more high-profile of the two, at times included Christoph Willibald Gluck and Giuseppe Sarti as members. Most of the works performed belonged to the genre of '' opera seria'', though ''opere buffe'' were also given. Anna Como
Anna Como née Geringhelli (d. ''after'' 1775), was an Italian ballerina. She was the first professionally trained ballerina to be employed at the Royal Danish Theatre after its foundation, in 1755–63.Elith Reumert, Den danske ballets historie' She was married to the ballet dancer Antonio Como. She arrived in Denmark as a member of the company of Pietro Mingotti. When the first ballet company was formed at the newly founded Royal Danish Theatre, she and her spouse were engaged as the first professionally trained performers there. At a period when there were no Danish ballet dancers in Denmark, they were the first principal dancers in the first Danish ballet of the national stage: they were also expected to take Danish pupils, and spouse was appointed ballet master.
