1410 Margret, provisional designation , is an Eoan asteroid from the outer regions of the asteroid belt, approximately 21 kilometers in diameter. It was discovered on 8 January 1937, by astronomer Karl Reinmuth at the Heidelberg Observatory in southwest Germany. The asteroid was named after Margret Braun, wife of the Heidelberg astronomer Heinrich Vogt. Orbit and classification ''Margret'' is a member of the Eos family (), the largest asteroid family in the outer main belt consisting of nearly 10,000 asteroids. It orbits the Sun at a distance of 2.7–3.3 AU once every 5 years and 3 months (1,917 days). Its orbit has an eccentricity of 0.11 and an inclination of 10 ° with respect to the ecliptic. The body's observation arc begins with its first identification as at Simeiz Observatory in September 1924, more than 12 years prior to its official discovery observation at Heidelberg. Margret Holmes Bates
Margret Holmes Bates (, Martha Mary Victoria Ernsperger; October 6, 1844 – January 21, 1927) was an American author better known by her pen names, Mrs M E Holmes, Margret Holmes, Margret Holmes Bates, and Margaret Holmes Bates. Her first publication was entitled, ''Manitou'', the plot of which centered around Rochester, Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana. One of her most noted books, ''Hildegarde'', was a poetry collection, dedicated to her son, Charles. Early life and education Martha Mary Victoria Ernsperger was born in Fremont, Ohio, October 6, 1844. Her maiden name was Ernsperger, and after five generations on U.S. soil, the name preserves its original spelling and pronunciation. She was a daughter of Christopher, a farmer, and Julia (Ensminger) Ernsperger. Bates' father was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Margret Grebowicz (born 1973) is a Polish philosopher, author, and former jazz vocalist. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Silesia in Katowice. In addition to peer-reviewed academic publications, Grebowicz, a proponent of public humanities, also publishes many works for the lay audience. Early life and education Grebowicz is originally from Łódź, Poland but was raised in Texas. In 1994, she earned a bachelor's degree in German literature, philosophy, and art history from the University of Texas at Austin. While completing her undergraduate degree, Grebowicz worked in record stores. She completed a Master of Arts degree from Emory University in 1998. In 2001, she earned a doctorate in philosophy at Emory University where she studied under Jean-François Lyotard.
