Marcus Robertson
Marcus Aaron Robertson (born October 2, 1969) is an American football coach and former safety who is the defensive backs coach for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions and Tennessee Titans. Robertson has spent the last 28 seasons in the NFL as a player, administrator and coach, and has coached defensive backs in the NFL for the last 12 seasons. Playing career College Robertson played college football at Iowa State. During his four seasons as a cornerback at Iowa State, Robertson totaled 257 tackles, six interceptions and nine forced fumbles. He was inducted into the Iowa State Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009. Dennis Allen (American Football)
Dennis James Allen (born September 22, 1972) is an American football coach who is the head coach of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He served as head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 2012 to 2014. Allen also previously coached for the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, University of Tulsa and his alma mater, Texas A&M University. Joe Woods (born June 25, 1970) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). Gunther Cunningham (June 19, 1946 – May 11, 2019) was an American football head coach. He served as the Kansas City Chiefs head coach for two seasons. He also had two stints as the Chiefs' Defensive Coordinator. He served as an assistant coach for five other National Football League (NFL) teams and four college teams. James J. Schwartz (born June 2, 1966) is an American football coach who is a Senior Defensive Assistant for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was head coach of the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL) from 2009 to 2013. Safety (American Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field.
