Marco Balbul
Marco Balbul ( he, מרקו בלבול; born 13 July 1967) is an Israeli football manager and former player. Early life Balbul was born in Tirat Carmel, Israel as the youngest child of Sephardic Jewish immigrant parents who immigrated from Egypt to Israel in 1950. Aged 9, he was accepted to the youth system of Maccabi Haifa. Playing career Babul made his first team debut for Maccabi Haifa in 1986. Spending most of his career at the club, he won several honours including the Israeli Premier League and the Israel State Cup. He made his Israel national team debut against Greece in 1990. He has 5 appearance in the UEFA Euro 1996 qualifying. Managerial career On 28 December 2014, Balbul was appointed the new manager of Maccabi Haifa, replacing Aleksandar Stanojević who resigned from the job. Tirat Carmel
Tirat Carmel ( he, טִירַת כַּרְמֶל), or ''Tirat HaCarmel'', is a city in the Haifa District in Israel. In it had a population of . Throughout the ages, the site of the modern city was controlled by many people, including the Romans, the Ottoman, and the British. The modern city was established on the site of the Palestinian Arab village of al-Tira. The town of Tirat Carmel was officially declared a city in 1992. Egyptian Jews constitute both one of the oldest and youngest Jewish communities in the world. The historic core of the Jewish community in Egypt consisted mainly of Egyptian Arabic speaking Rabbanites and Karaites. 2014–15 Toto Cup Al
The 2014–15 Toto Cup Al was the 30th season of the third-important Association football, football tournament in Israel since its introduction and the 10th tournament involving Israeli Premier League clubs only. The tournament resumed after the planned competition for the previous season was cancelled. The competition was held in two stages. First, fourteen 2014–15 Israeli Premier League, Premier League teams were divided into three groups, five teams in groups A and C and four teams in group B, the teams playing against each other once. The best 3 teams from groups A and C and the best 2 teams from group B advanced to the quarter-finals, which was played over Two-legged tie, two legged ties. The semi-finals and the final were played as one-legged matches in a neutral venue. The Israel Toto Cup ( he, גביע הטוטו, ''Gvia Ha'Toto'') is an association football tournament that features clubs in the two highest divisions in Israel: the Israeli Premier League (Ligat Ha'Al), and the second division Liga Leumit. From 1999 to 2009, the tournament was also open to clubs from the third division, until the cancellation of Liga Artzit. Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. Aleksandar Stanojević ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Станојевић, ; born 28 October 1973) is a Serbian professional football manager and former player. Playing career Stanojević started his playing career in Partizan youth squad. From 1993 until 1997 he spent three seasons in Obilić and one season in Spanish Segunda División playing for Mallorca. In 1997, he joined OFK Beograd for two seasons. He rejoined Partizan in 1999, and was part of the squad that won 2001 national cup. UEFA Euro 1996 Qualifying
Qualifying for UEFA Euro 1996 took place throughout 1994 and 1995. Forty-seven teams were divided into eight groups, with each team playing the others in their group both home and away. The winners of each group and the six best runners-up qualified automatically, while the two worst runners-up were involved in a play-off at a neutral venue. England qualified automatically as hosts of the event.
