Makis Chavos
Makis Chavos ( el, Μάκης Χάβος; born 5 September 1969) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Chavos is best remembered for his four-and-a-half-year spell with PAOK. During the later stages of his career, he played with several clubs in the lower divisions. As a manager, he has coached several clubs in Greece and Cyprus. Playing career Club After playing as an amateur for Achilleas Triandria, Chavos transferred to Olympiacos in 1987. After making three appearances for the Reds during the first half of the 1987–88 season, he moved on loan to Apollon Kalamarias for the remainder of the season. He then transferred to A.O Trikala and enjoyed a fairly successful season, appearing in 28 games and scoring 2 goals. He then transferred to Panserraikos for the next 3 years, appearing in a total of 82 games and scoring 8 goals. Nea Madytos
Nea Madytos ( el, Νέα Μάδυτος) is a village and a community of the Volvi municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Madytos, of which it was a municipal district and the seat. The 2011 census recorded 1,621 inhabitants in the village. The community of Nea Madytos covers an area of 34.705 km2. It was founded in the mid-1920s by refugees originating from Madytos (present Eceabat, Turkey). Lamia Football Club ( el, Π.Α.Ε. Π.Α.Σ. Λαμία 1964) is a Greek professional football club based in Lamia, Greece. It was founded in 1964. The club plays in the Super League, the first tier of Greek football. It plays its home matches at the Lamia Municipal Stadium. History Foundation and early years On 1 June 1964, when the representatives of the clubs of Fthiotida decided to "carve out" a common course, A.S. Lamia was established. Stratos Apostolakis ( el, Στράτος Αποστολάκης; born 17 May 1964), nicknamed The Turbo, is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a defender or a defensive midfielder. Career Apostolakis was no stranger to controversy as a player, his switch from Olympiacos to Panathinaikos in 1990 led to the cancellation of the Greek Super Cup as the authorities feared riots. As a footballer he played his best years for Panathinaikos being one of the key players behind club's European runs in 1991–92 and 1995–96. He played with Panathinaikos through 1998.
