Main Line Through Upper Norrland
The Main Line Through Upper Norrland ( sv, Stambanan genom övre Norrland) is a long railway line between Bräcke, Jämtland County and Boden, Norrbotten County in Sweden. For military and regional policy reasons, it was built in very sparsely populated areas, far away from the more densely populated coast. The line has several branches to settlements on the coast, the ones to Umeå and Luleå being considered part of the line itself. Today the three largest settlements along the line are Boden (population 18,800), Älvsbyn (population 5,500) and Vännäs (population 4,100). In 2010, the Bothnia Line opened, which parallels the Main Line Through Upper Norrland along the coast from Sundsvall to Umeå. From 2013 all passenger traffic moved from the Main Line to the Bothnia Line, ending service between along the section between Bräcke and Vännäs. Stockholm Central Station
Stockholm Central Station ( sv, Stockholms centralstation) is a railway station in Stockholm, Sweden. It is situated in the district of Norrmalm at Vasagatan/Central Plan. The station opened on 18 July 1871 and it had over 200,000 visitors daily, of which about 170,000 were travellers (105,000 with commuter trains, 25,000 with Arlanda Express and 40,000 with other trains), until 10 July 2017 when the local commuter trains started to call at the Stockholm City Station which is located under the central station. In front of the central station stands a statue of Nils Ericson. History The station was built between 1867 and 1871 with Adolf W. Edelsvärd as the architect. Bombardier Itino
Bombardier Itino is a diesel multiple unit manufactured by Bombardier Transportation, originally developed by Adtranz. It has two or three cars and is capable of . 40 units have been built and 17 more are on order. It is in service in Germany and Sweden. Railways Germany In Germany it has been designated as DB Class 613 and is operated on Odenwaldbahn and Erfurter Bahn. 27 units have been ordered by the two railways. Sweden In Sweden the unit has the designation Y31 and Y32, the latter for the three-car formation. Seventeen units have been delivered and are currently operated by Jönköpings Länstrafik, Kalmar Länstrafik, Norrtåg, Värmlandstrafik and Västtrafik. The Itino replaced the Y1 railcars. Lycksele (; sma, Liksjoe; Ume Sami: ) is a locality and the seat of Lycksele Municipality in Västerbotten County, province of Lapland, Sweden with 8,513 inhabitants in 2010.
