Magazin is a Croatian pop band from Split. Founded in 1979 under the name Dalmatinski magazin ("Dalmatia Dalmatia (; hr, Dalmacija ; it, Dalmazia; see names in other languages) is one of the four historical regions of Croatia, alongside Croatia proper, Slavonia, and Istria. Tonči Huljić
Tonči Huljić (; born 29 October 1961) is a Croatian musician, songwriter and music producer. He is best known as the founding member, songwriter and producer of one the most famous Croatian pop bands, Magazin. During his career spanning more than five decades, Huljić has produced numerous hit singles, both for the group and for numerous solo artists which emerged from his record label. Some of the most prominent music artists who collaborated with him include Jelena Rozga, Doris Dragović, Petar Grašo as well as Maksim Mrvica, Danijela Martinović, Minea and Jole. In total, Huljić has produced and composed more than 1370 songs. Jelena Rozga
Jelena Rozga (born 23 August 1977) is a Croatian pop, folk, and electropop singer. Born and raised in Split, Croatia, Rozga was a ballet dancer as a child. She rose to fame in 1996, when she became the lead singer of Magazin, a pop band famous in Croatia. She served as the band's lead singer until 2006, releasing a total of five studio albums. During the ten years, the band released numerous commercially and critically successful singles including "Ginem", "Minut' srca tvog" and "Minus i plus" among others. Ljiljana Nikolovska (; mk, Лилјана Николовска, also spelled Nikolovski or Nikoloski; born 24 August 1964) is a Croatian singer who rose to prominence as the lead vocalist for the Split-based pop music act Magazin. Ivan Huljić
Ivan Huljić (born 17 January 1988) is a Croatian composer and songwriter. He first emerged as a songwriter in 2006 with the song "Zadnja epizoda" for the popular Croatian band Magazin. He has since written songs for Croatian pop singers, including Doris Dragović, Domenica, Damir Kedžo, Joško Čagalj Jole and Lorena. In addition to the lyrics, Ivan Huljić has also served as the composer and producer for several songs. Danijela Martinović
Danijela Martinović (born 15 July 1971), also known mononymously as Danijela, is a Croatian pop singer. Biography Born in Split to Croatian parents, Martinović began to sing from an early age. She has a sister, Izabela, who also pursued a music career through Split-based pop act Stijene. Her big breakthrough came in 1991 when she joined the pop band Magazin. Magazin had long been a big name on the Croatian music scene (as well as the wider area, dating back to Yugoslav times); as such, Martinović became one of the biggest national icons. Croatia selected its entry for the 1995 Eurovision Song Contest through the "Dora 1995" contest, which was held on 12 March 1995, organised by the Croatian national broadcaster Hrvatska radiotelevizija (HRT) in Opatija. The winners were Magazin and Lidija with "Nostalgija". Before Eurovision Dora 1995 HRT organised the Dora contest to select the Croatian entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 1995, held in Opatija. The national contest consisted of a televised final with 20 songs selected from a public call for submissions from songwriters and composers. The winner was chosen by 20 regional juries. At Eurovision Magazin & Lidija performed 11th on the night of the contest, following Turkey and preceding France. Andrea Šušnjara (born 26 February 1987) is a Croatian singer who was the Croatian entrant for the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. She, alongside Igor Cukrov, were the winners of Dora 2009, performing the song "Lijepa Tena" (''Beautiful Tena'').
