The Macedonian First League ( mk, Македонска прва лига, ''Makedonska prva liga'') is the top-tier basketball competition in the Republic of North Macedonia organized by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Macedonian Republic League was transformed in to top division level Macedonian Basketball First League. After the transformation teams from the higher level federal Leagues (MZT and Rabotnički) joined the Macedonian First League. Teams Feniks 2010 and Angeli were promoted. Feniks 2010 won Vtora liga, while Angeli were runner-ups. KK Pelister is a men's professional basketball club based in Bitola, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian League and the ABA League Second Division. History The club was founded in 1948. Pelister is one of the most representative Clubs in Macedonia. The name changed many times in the rich history of the Club such as : Mladost Metalec (92-96), Pelister (96-06), Swisslion Pelister (06-09), Pelister (09-11), Pelister Sport (11-14), Pelister (14-15), KK Pelister AD Bitola (2015). Jane Sandanski Arena
Jane Sandanski Arena ( mk, Спортскиот центар „Јане Сандански“ or ) is an indoor sports arena located in the Aerodrom Municipality of Skopje, Republic of Macedonia . It has a capacity of 6,000. It is named after revolutionary Jane Sandanski. History On 18 November 2012, it was announced that the arena would be completely demolished, with a new arena called Sports Centre Jane Sandanski planned to be built in its place. On 14 February 2013, MZT Aerodrom held their last training in Jane Sandanski, with more than a thousand fans attending. The following day the arena was officially closed and demolished. It was rebuilt and reopened in August 2014, financed by the Russian businessman Sergey Samsonenko, built alongside the four-star hotel "Russia".
