Munimji
''Munimji'' () is a 1955 Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film starring Dev Anand and Nalini Jaywant, and directed by Subodh Mukherjee. The story idea was by Ranjan, the screenplay was by Nasir Hussain, and dialogues by Nasir Hussain and Qamar Jalalabadi. Pran played the villain in the film. It also starred Ameeta and Nirupa Roy. The team of Mukherjee, Nasir Hussain, Dev Anand and music director S.D. Burman later got together to produce another movie, '' Paying Guest'', in 1957. The film was loosely adapted in Telugu as '' Inti Guttu'' (1958). Plot Roopa lives a wealthy lifestyle with her widowed dad, Captain Suresh, and brother, Shekhar. Nirupa Roy
Nirupa Roy (born Kokila Kishorechandra Bulsara; 4 January 1931 – 13 October 2004) was an Indian actress who had appeared in Hindi films. Noted for her portrayals of tragedy and sorrow, Roy was known for her acting ability, and was uncharitably called the "Queen of Misery" in Hindi film circles. Roy was active from 1946 to 1999, and was best known for playing motherly roles. ''Inti Guttu'' () is a 1958 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by Akella Sastry and directed by Vedantam Raghavayya. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Savitri with music composed by M. S. Prakash. Dev Anand (; born Dharamdev Pishorimal Anand; 26 September 1923 – 3 December 2011) was an Indian actor, writer, director and producer known for his work in Indian cinema, Hindi cinema. Nalini Jaywant (18 February 1926 – 22 December 2010) was an Indian actress who appeared in Hindi films in the 1940s and 1950s. Filmfare in their poll in the 1950s declared her the most beautiful woman in the movies. Actor Dilip Kumar described her "the greatest actress he ever worked with". Pran Krishan Sikand (; 12 February 1920 – 12 July 2013), better known mononymously as Pran, was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi cinema. He was one of the most successful and respected actors in the history of Indian cinema; in a career spanning over six decades he was also one of the highest-paid actors of his time. Subodh Mukerji (14 April 1921 – 21 May 2005) was an Indian filmmaker (producer and director) of Hindi-language films. He was the brother of the leading producer-director Sashadhar Mukherjee.
