Morning (magazine)
is a weekly Japanese seinen manga magazine published by Kodansha. It debuted in 1982 as and was rebranded as Morning in 1991 while still maintaining its weekly publication tradition. The digital edition of the magazine is titled . It is the sister magazine of ''Evening'' and ''Afternoon''. In 2006 a spin-off magazine called was launched (formerly bimonthly), featuring stories like ''Saint ''☆''Young Men'', under the supervision of editor-in-chief Eijiro Shimada, who was simultaneously deputy editor-in-chief of the weekly ''Morning''. Cooking Papa
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tochi Ueyama. It has been serialized in Kodansha's ''seinen'' anthology magazine ''Morning'' since June 6, 1985. Kodansha has collected its into individual ''tankōbon'' volumes and it as a total of 170 volumes as of July 2024, making it one of the longest manga series by number of volumes. OL Shinkaron
is a ''yonkoma'' manga series by Risu Akizuki about OLs, or office ladies. It follows the daily lives of Minako and Jun, the coworkers, friends, family, and neighbors. It also had a short, spin-off series titled ''Okusama Shinkaron'' that focused on housewives. Several different translations in English, including two bilingual Japanese/English series titled ''Survival in the Office'' and ''OL Revolution'', have been published. Nobuyuki Fukumoto
is a Japanese manga artist, well known for his work including unique and original gambling ideas, deep psychological analyses of characters, and his distinct art style. Gambling and yakuza are recurring themes in his manga. In English-speaking countries, he is best known as the author of Kaiji, a gambling-related manga, and '' Akagi'', a mahjong-related manga.
