Monica Bello (art Historian)
Mónica Bello is a Spanish curator and art historian. In her curatorial work she discusses the way artists instigate new conversations around emergent culture and societal phenomena, such as the role of science and technology in the perception of reality. For more than 15 years she has been curating exhibitions and events internationally in collaboration with leading artists, designers, researchers and scientists of various disciplines. Since 2015 she is the curator and head of arts at CERN at the European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. At CERN she curates the research-led artistic residencies and the new art commissions that reflect on the conversations and exchanges between artists and particle physicists and engineers as well as staff of the laboratory. José-Carlos Mariátegui
José-Carlos Mariátegui is a scientist, writer, curator and scholar on culture, new media and technology. He explores the intersection of culture and technology, history of cybernetics, media archeology, digitization, video archives, and the impact of technology on memory institutions. Born in 1975, he is the son of Peruvian psychiatrist Javier Mariategui and the grandson of Jose Carlos Mariategui, the most influential Latin American Marxist thinker of the 20th century. Yu-Chen Wang
Yu-Chen Wang (born 1978 in Taichung Taiwan) is a British-Taiwanese artist and curator. She is based in London, UK, working internationally. Education Yu-Chen Wang graduated with an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art in London in 2002. She previously attended the Postgraduate Study programme at Goldsmiths College University of London. Practice Wang has worked with the impact of industries and navigation on nature, landscape and people in Northern England. Most recently, she extended her research onto Taiwan’s mangrove forests.
