Franco Mondini-Ruiz (born 1961) is an American artist who lives and works in San Antonio, Texas and New York, New York. He is of Mexican and Italian descent. According to art critic Roberta Smith, his work "questions notions of preciousness and art-market exclusivity while delivering a fizzy visual pleasure". Mondini-Ruiz takes a variety of approaches to creating art, working in installation, performance, painting, sculpture, and short stories. Mondini Dysplasia
Mondini dysplasia, also known as Mondini malformation and Mondini defect, is an abnormality of the inner ear that is associated with sensorineural hearing loss. This deformity was first described in 1791 by Mondini after examining the inner ear of a deaf boy. The Mondini dysplasia describes a cochlea with incomplete partitioning and a reduced number of turns, an enlarged vestibular aqueduct and a dilated vestibule. A normal cochlea has two and a half turns, a cochlea with Mondini dysplasia has one and a half turns; the basal turns being normally formed with a dilated or cystic apical turn to the cochlear. The hearing loss can deteriorate over time either gradually or in a step-wise fashion, or may be profound from birth. Hearing loss associated with Mondini dysplasia may first become manifest in childhood or early adult life. Giorgio Mondini
Giorgio Mondini (Born July 19, 1980) is an automobile racing driver from Geneva, Switzerland. Career Mondini began his competitive racing career at the age of 21, when he came 26th in the Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup series. In 2002 he made his way up to 17th place, before moving on to Formula Renault V6 Eurocup. In 2003 he achieved 7th place, and in 2004 became champion with three wins, three pole positions and a total of eight podiums. In 2005 he competed in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series with Eurointernational before moving to GP2 with DPR. He also tests for the Swiss A1GP team. When he made his GP2 debut in 2005 he raced with an Italian racing license. In December 2005, Giorgio enjoyed his first taste of Formula One when he got behind the wheel of a Renault R25 as a reward for winning the Formula Renault V6 series. Luca Mondini (born 25 February 1970) is a former Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Mondini started his professional career at Internazionale. After he was loaned to Serie C1 clubs, he joined Vicenza which newly promoted to Serie A in mid-1995, replacing Giorgio Sterchele who left for A.S. Roma. He was the first choice ahead Pierluigi Brivio until the start of the 1997–98 season, but Brivio was preferred in goal when Vicenza won the 1996–97 Coppa Italia. In November 1997, he joined Treviso of Serie B. In mid-1998 he joined Napoli, ahead Giuseppe Taglialatela and Ferdinando Coppola as first choice.
