Molly Lanaghan
Molly Beth Lanaghan (born January 29, 1999) is a British- Canadian ice dancer, who currently competes with Dmitre Razgulajevs. Personal life Molly Lanaghan was born on January 29, 1999, in Doncaster, England. She has an older sister named Charlotte. In addition to figure skating, she is also a certified lash technician. Career Early career Lanaghan began skating in 2007 after watching her older sister skate. At the age of thirteen, Lanaghan began pairs skating for Great Britain with Jake Astill from 2013 to 2015. Together, they won the 2014 British Junior Figure Skating Championships Following the end of her partnership with Astill, Lanaghan decided to switch to the ice dancing discipline at the suggestion of her pairs coaches. She had a brief partnership with fellow British ice dancer, Joseph Buckland. 2018 Canadian Figure Skating Championships
The 2018 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships took place January 8–14, 2018, in Vancouver, British Columbia. The free dance (FD) is a segment of an ice dance competition, the second contested. It follows the rhythm dance (RD). Skaters perform "a creative dance program blending dance steps and movements expressing the character/rhythm(s) of the dance music chosen by the couple".S&P/ID 2022, p. 143 Its duration is four minutes for senior ice dancers, and 3.5 minutes for juniors. The 2020 Skate Canada International was scheduled to be the second event in the 2020–21 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating, a senior-level international invitational competition series. It would have been held at TD Place Arena in Ottawa, Ontario on October 30–31. Medals were to be awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a large number of modifications were made to the Grand Prix structure.
