Mohd Zolkafly bin Harun is a Malaysian politician who has served as Member of the Perak State Executive Council (EXCO) in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) and Barisan Nasional (BN) state administrations under Menteris Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu and Saarani Mohamad since May 2020 and Member of the Perak State Legislative Assembly (EXCO) for Lintang since May 2013. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of the BN coalition. The Malay language has a complex system of styles, titles and honorifics which are used extensively in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the southern Philippines. Brunei, Malaysia, Singapore and several provinces in Indonesia regularly award honorary and life titles. What follows in this article is specific to the Malaysian system. Ahamad Pakeh Adam
Atique Ahmed (born 10 August 1962) is an Indian politician who is also notable for being an alleged criminal leader and history-sheeter. He was elected as a member of the legislative assembly from the Allahabad west seat for 5 consecutive terms which is a record. From 2004–2009, he was elected as a Samajwadi Party candidate for the 14th Lok Sabha from Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh. Between the years 1999-2003, he was the president of the Apna Dal, founded by Sone Lal Patel. According to his affidavit in the 2014 elections, he has declared that there are now no cases pending against him. The most sensational murder was that of BSP MLA Raju Pal, who had defeated Atique's brother Ashraf in the 2004 Uttar Pradesh state legislature elections. 2022 Perak State Election
The 2022 Perak state election, formally the 15th Perak state election, took place on 19 November 2022. This election was to elect 59 members of the 15th Perak State Legislative Assembly. The previous assembly was dissolved on 17 October 2022. The results of the election resulted in a hung assembly, Perikatan Nasional (PN) won 26 seats, Pakatan Harapan (PH) won 24 while the incumbent Barisan Nasional (BN) which led the administration before election, only won 9. However, two days after the election, caretaker Menteri Besar Saarani Mohammad was reappointed to the position and the state government was formed on 21 November 2022 after the agreement of BN and PH to form the coalition government, it exceeded the simple majority support of 30 members of the assembly (MLAs) required to form the state government. 2018 Perak State Election
The 14th Perak State election was held on 9 May 2018. The previous state election was held on 5 May 2013. Each of the state assemblymen are elected to a five year term each. The Perak State Legislative Assembly automatically dissolved on 28 June 2018, the fifth anniversary of the first sitting, and elections were required to be held within sixty days (two months) of the dissolution (on or before 28 August 2018, with the date to be decided by the Election Commission), unless dissolved prior to that date by the Head of State (Sultan of Perak) on the advice of the Head of Government ( Menteri Besar of Perak).
