Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty (born Gouranga Chakraborty; 16 June 1950) is an Indian actor, film producer, screenwriter, entrepreneur and politician who predominantly works in Hindi cinema, Hindi and Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema. In a career spanning over five decades, he has done 350 films, mostly in Hindi and Bengali language, Bengali languages, and a few in Odia language, Odia, Telugu language, Telugu, Kannada, Punjabi language, Punjabi and Tamil language, Tamil. Marianne Mithun ( ; born 1946) is an American linguist specializing in American Indian languages and language typology. She is a professor of linguistics at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she has held an academic position since 1986. Career She began her career with extensive fieldwork on Iroquoian languages, especially Mohawk, Cayuga, and Tuscarora, earning her PhD in Linguistics from Yale in 1974 with a dissertation entitled "A Grammar of Tuscarora" ( Floyd Lounsbury, dissertation supervisor). Mithun Manhas (born 12 October 1979) is an Indian former first-class cricketer and current coach. A right-handed batsman, he also bowled right-arm off-spin and occasionally kept wicket. He was the first ever player from Jammu and Kashmir to play in the Indian Premier League. Indian Premier League Manhas played in the Indian Premier League representing the Delhi Daredevils. Mohammad Mithun (; born March 3, 1991) is a Bangladeshi cricketer and the captain of Sylhet Strikers. He made his first class in 2006/07 season for Sylhet Division. Anthony Mithen is a Melbourne-based sports commentator, radio presenter, racehorse owner and breeder. He began his sports journalism career as a cadet at the ''Geelong Advertiser'' in 1990, before moving onto ''The Age'' newspaper in 1994.
