Minimum Serious
Minimum Serious is a pop punk band that formed in 2000 in Grenoble, France. Their lyrics are in French and English. History Minimum Serious has released two albums, "Fantastic World" in 2000 and "Procapitalist" in 2002, through their own record label, On The Ring Records. After their French tour with bands like Sum 41, Lagwagon, and Mad Caddies, the band decided to send their press kit to record labels. Mercury Records offered them a contract and sent the band to record a new album with producer David Salsedo and engineer Clive Martin. This resulted in their self-titled third album. At the end of 2005, after one year of touring in France, Minimum Serious recorded another album, ''Goodbye California'' with the single "Goodbye California" that went to number 24 on the French charts. To promote the new album, the band went on a French tour for one year and played at the Give It A Name festival of 2007 in France with bands like New Found Glory, The Used, and Saosin. Mercury Records
Mercury Records is an American record label owned by Universal Music Group. It had significant success as an independent operation in the 1940s and 1950s. Smash Records and Fontana Records were sub labels of Mercury. Sum 41 is a Canadian rock band from Ajax, Ontario. Originally called Kaspir, the band was formed in 1996 and currently consists of Deryck Whibley (lead vocals, guitars, keyboards), Dave Baksh (lead guitar, backing vocals), Jason "Cone" McCaslin (bass, backing vocals), Tom Thacker (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals), and Frank Zummo (drums, percussion, occasional backing vocals). Lagwagon
Lagwagon is an American punk rock band originally from Goleta, California, just outside Santa Barbara. They formed in 1989, went on hiatus in 2000, and reunited several times over the years. Their name comes from the band's tour van, which can be seen on the back cover of their 1994 second album '' Trashed''. The band has 12 releases through Fat Wreck Chords: nine studio albums, one EP, one live album and a collection of B-sides, compilation tracks and demos. Lagwagon has never had, nor have they seemed to pursue, strong mainstream success, but they do have a devoted underground following in North America, Europe and Asia. The Mad Caddies (or the Caddies) are a ska punk band from Solvang, California, United States. The band formed in 1995 and has released seven full-length albums, one live album, and two EPs. To date, Mad Caddies have sold over 500,000 albums worldwide. The Mad Caddies sound has influences from broad ranging genres including ska (especially ska 3rd wave), punk rock, hardcore punk, reggae, dixieland jazz, Latin music, polka, even cowpunk ("Crew Cut Chuck") and sea shanties ("Weird Beard"). New Found Glory (formerly A New Found Glory) is an American rock band from Coral Springs, Florida, formed in 1997. Saosin
Saosin is an American rock band formed in Orange County, California in 2003 by Beau Burchell, Justin Shekoski, Zach Kennedy, and Anthony Green. The band released their first EP, '' Translating the Name'', in 2003. That year, vocalist Anthony Green left Saosin due to personal reasons, and was replaced by Cove Reber in 2004. With Reber, the group recorded their self titled debut album, released on Capitol Records in 2006.
