Ming-Ming Duckling
''Wonder Pets!'' is an American animated musical children's television series produced by Little Airplane Productions. The series follows a trio of classroom pets—Linny the Guinea Pig, Turtle Tuck, and Ming-Ming Duckling—who use teamwork to help animals in need. Most of the characters' dialogue is sung in the style of a sung-through musical. Each episode is set to original music by a 10-member live orchestra. Josh Selig and Jennifer Oxley developed the idea for ''Wonder Pets!'' while working on their previous show, '' Oobi''. The series started out with two animated shorts called "Linny the Guinea Pig", which acted as pilot episodes. To animate them, Oxley created a style of animation called "photo-puppetry" that uses photos of real objects and moves them using Adobe After Effects. Little Airplane Productions
Little Airplane Productions was an American television production company co-founded by Josh Selig and Lori Shaer (née Sherman) in 1999. The company produced '' Oobi'' for Noggin, '' Wonder Pets!'' for Nickelodeon, and '' 3rd & Bird'' for the BBC. It also released independent short films. In 2017, the company was bought by the Belgian-based Studio 100, which entered a co-production agreement to create the comedy series ''Doctor Space'' with Little Airplane. The company's main studio was located in New York City's South Street Seaport. Filming, animation, design, and storyboarding work were completed in a building. The red-eared slider or red-eared terrapin (''Trachemys scripta elegans'') is a subspecies of the pond slider (''Trachemys scripta''), a semiaquatic turtle belonging to the Family (biology), family Emydidae. Native to the southern United States and extreme northern Mexico, it is popular as a pet across the world, and is the most Invasive species, invasive turtle. It is the most commonly traded turtle in the world. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap", has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production. At that point, it is traditional to hold a wrap party for the cast and crew of the film. This marks the end of the actors' collaboration with each other, the director, producer, and crew on the film (except for possible dubbing or pick-ups). However the leading cast members may be called in several months or years later to help promote the film when it is ready to be released. ''Oobi'' is an American children's television series produced by Little Airplane Productions for the Noggin channel. The show's concept is based on a training method used by puppeteers, in which they use their hands and a pair of glass eyes instead of a full puppet. The main character is a bare hand puppet named Oobi. The first season was a series of two-minute shorts. For its second and third seasons, it became a long-form series, with episodes lasting 13 minutes each. The show originally aired from 2000 to February 11, 2005, with reruns continuing until March 18, 2013. The series was created by Josh Selig. He came up with the idea for ''Oobi'' while watching bare-handed puppeteers audition for ''Sesame Street''. Apple TV+ is an American subscription over-the-top streaming service owned by Apple. The service launched on November 1, 2019, and it offers a selection of original production film and television series called Apple Originals.
