Milton (cartoon)
''Milton'' is a series of animated shorts created by Mike Judge. Background They aired on ''Saturday Night Live'' in the mid-1990s and, like Judge's other early shorts, appeared on MTV's ''Liquid Television'' in the early 1990s. In the cartoon shorts, all voices are provided by Judge. The 1999 film ''Office Space'' was based upon the cartoons, and featured actor Stephen Root in the role of Milton Waddams. Although Milton was the title character from the shorts, the role was a supporting character in the ''Office Space'' feature film, as was his boss, Bill Lumbergh (played by actor Gary Cole Gary Michael Cole (born September 20, 1956) is an American actor. Michael Craig Judge (born October 17, 1962) is an American actor, animator, writer, producer, and director. He is best known for being the creator of the animated television series ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' (1993–1997, 2011, 2022–present). Liquid Television
''Liquid Television'' was an animation showcase broadcast on MTV from 1991 to 1995. It launched several high-profile original cartoons, including ''Beavis and Butt-Head'' and '' Æon Flux''. Other recurring segments include "The Art School Girls of Doom", '' The Specialists'', and '' Brad Dharma: Psychedelic Detective''. Bill Lumbergh
William Lumbergh is a fictional character, who appeared initially in the '' Milton'' animated shorts, and later was portrayed by Gary Cole in the 1999 film ''Office Space'' as the film's main antagonist. A caricature of corporate management, Lumbergh is a division vice president of the Texas-based software company Initech, and serves as the main antagonist of the film. He drives a blue Porsche 911 SC with a vanity license plate "MY PRSHE". He wears formal, solid-color day dress shirts with Winchester collars and suspenders with a belt — a fashion ''faux pas'' — as well as an MIT college class ring.
