Mille-Marie Treschow
Mille-Marie Treschow (3 April 1954 – 29 September 2018) was a Norwegian landlord and businessperson. She was known for her previous marriage to Stein Erik Hagen, well known as "Rimi-Hagen", being the former owner of the Rimi chain of low-cost discount stores. Fritzøehus
Fritzøehus is a private estate and palace located in Larvik, Norway. It is the largest privately owned estate in Norway. History The estate has traditionally been associated with various members of the Treschow (noble family), Treschow family. Fritzøehus was built for Michael Treschow (1814-1901) during the years 1863–1865. Michael Treschow was one of the country's most important industrialists in the mid-19th century. He owned Fritzøe Jernverk, an ironworks together with sawmills and sizable forest properties in Larvik. Fritzøehus was designed in Renaissance Revival architecture by architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan (1824–1892). The manor house was expanded in 1885–1889 and 1897–1898. Treschow (noble Family)
The Treschow family is a noble family originating in Denmark and with branches in Norway and Sweden. The family name means "wooden shoe-maker" and the family later counted many merchants in the 17th century and priests in the 18th century. A member of the family, Michael Treschow, bought the status of untitled (lower) nobility in Denmark in 1812. One of his sons settled in Norway, where the concept of nobility only was abolished a few years later. Members of this family have been industrialists and landowners, notably in Vestfold.
